United MileagePlus Shopping is offering up to 2,020 bonus miles on purchases through May 19, 2020 (registration required):

  • Earn 500 bonus miles for each $50+ purchase, for up to four purchases
  • If you make four purchases of $50+ each, you’ll earn an additional 20 bonus miles, for a total of 2,020 bonus miles

Alaska Mileage Plan Shopping bonus

Alaska Mileage Plan Shopping is offering up to 2,020 bonus miles on purchases through May 19, 2020 (registration required):

  • Earn 500 bonus miles for each $75+ purchase, for up to four purchases
  • If you make four purchases of $75+ each, you’ll earn an additional 20 bonus miles, for a total of 2,020 bonus miles

Bottom line

Between these three promotions you can earn up to 6,060 bonus miles. You can take advantage of each of these three promotions, and this promotion is based on how many individual purchases you make, as you can potentially earn bonuses for a total of up to 12 transactions.

The bonus miles should post within 10 weeks of when the promotions end.

If you make purchases in the right increments you could be earning up to an additional 10x miles per dollar, not even factoring in the miles usually being offered through the shopping portals, plus the miles you usually earn through credit card spending (make sure you’re using the best credit cards for everyday spending). That can really add up.

For all of these promotions taxes, fees, shipping, and handling, don’t count towards the $50-75 spending requirements.
